Athletics and Activities

The Athletics and Activities of Oak Grove Classical Academy operates programs that teach lessons of sportsmanship, respect for one’s teammates and opponents, respect for the rules and officials, and the ability to handle winning and losing with grace. Our hope is that students will develop the traits of perseverance, responsibility, integrity, commitment, leadership and teamwork, all of which is educating the whole man: mind, body and spirit. The goal of the Oak Grove Athletics and Activities Department is for coaches, athletes and teams to pursue excellence by the strength of God, for the glory of God. This is something that takes place in the heart but can be outwardly visible to the spectator as evidenced by the team’s commitment, work ethic, passion and conduct. Every coach, student and parent is charged with the responsibility of implementing these qualities because we represent the school, our families and Christ while competing as Owls.
