Rhetoric is the art of persuasive speech. The Rhetoric School seeks to capitalize on the student’s propensity to consider what he or she believes and how he or she will convey those beliefs winsomely into his or her spheres of influence. Oak Grove’s Rhetoric School provides a full and unique offering for high school aged students. The goal of our Rhetoric School is to further cultivate our young men and women for Christ’s glory and their good, all while nourishing their souls on truth, beauty, and goodness.

The Curriculum

The word ‘curriculum’ comes from the Latin term that means ‘run’. In Oak Grove’s Rhetoric School, we employ a key classical component of “making haste slowly” as we run the course of continual refinement – preparing a student for the course of life.
